Design build project.  This project will move the Weather Squadron operations farther away from launch operations, increasing safety and efficiency of critical launch support operations. Additionally, a renovated Building 36001 will enhance the mission effectiveness and efficiency.  

Work will consist of exterior site improvements and building demolition, as well interior reconfiguration to support Weather Squadron operations. Remove and replace all electrical (excluding pad mounted service transformer), plumbing, lightning protection, and fire protection systems. Retrofit and upgrade existing HVAC to accommodate office reconfiguration. Renovate bathrooms, repair existing roof, and renovate all flooring, wall coverings, doors, and windows. Provide rooftop access, support platform and safety rails.

Site visit: 04/24/2025; if you need a base pass; complete the form and return to estimating@abbaconstruction.com by 10am 04/21/25.

Meet at Bldg. 36001 Cape Canaveral Space Force Station 30 minutes prior to the site visit time.  The building is located at the end of Lighthouse Road past the abandoned gate.
